First, what is a "training aid"?
It's something that helps you improve your golf game.
And EVERYBODY wants that.
But here is the thing with most "aids" you find on the internet.
They don't help.
You either misuse it, or it leads to an uncomfortable swing, or it creates more confusion that you started with.
And, maybe the worst part, you use it for a month in the spring and then tuck it away for a lifetime.
So here's the deal...
THE BEST GOLF TRAINING AID THAT EXISTS IS...
Your Physical Body.
I could hear the sighs from here.
But listen up.
Your physical body can either be your biggest aid or biggest limiting factor, I have seen both ends of this spectrum in the golf world.
If your physical body isn't up to par... ha! I love puns...
There's a good chance you're leaving performance potential out there or worse, going to run into injuries down the road.
If you are in (or can get into) "golf shape" you have just found the most effective training aid that exists... outside of maybe having a very good golf coach.
YOUR PHYSICAL BODY IS THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR GAME!
It underlies everything that happens on the golf course.
Your physical body is the tool that you as an athlete use to perform on the course.
Buying a new club? Doesn't really matter if your physically unable to swing it at a higher level.
Buying some new balls that are supposed to be "higher performing"? Doesn't matter if your body isn't equally "higher performing."

The point is, your physical body is by far the most important "aid" that you take onto the course.
I am not saying that you need to have washboard abs and mobility like the men and women on tour.... but a level up to your current physical ability WILL contribute to lower scores and more resilience.
